Show #2 is in the books for the High School. And indoor standstill #2 as well. Yea rain...

The weekend was long. I think the worst part about it was that I didn't get to see my daughter all that much but that will change this week, and be a welcome change.
Now that the weekend is over I can say it was productive, Brass got better and the high school got all of their drill on the field (a ton of sets). Not all of it has music with it yet, but that's ok. We'll get it done soon.

The busy time.
So we enter the part of the summer where drum corps and marching band overlap. It's nice cause I get a lot of my two favorite activites but at the same time I tend to burn out and need a couple of days off by the end of drill camp week for the marching band.

What would you change about the way your parents raised you?
Really when I go back and think about it, I had it pretty good. My mom did a lot for me and was there all the time. I think that I would just have my old man be arround more. My parents divorced and I really feel that was for the best. He was gone quite a bit. But whatever.
